5 Honeymoon warm-up tips for the dude-grooms

Tip  1. As we men are supposed to lead our wives to a deeper knowledge of the Lord and His word, there’s no reason we can’t start doing this on our honeymoon! But is it even appropriate? Won’t the Bible extinguish instead of stoke passions? Absolutely not! Read Song of Solomon in the Bible to your bride on one of your honeymoon nights. Start with Chapter 4 and read excerpts to her like from the “honey” verse above, like:

"How beautiful you are!
Your lips are like a scarlet thread,
And your mouth is lovely.
Your temples are like a slice of a pomegranate***…
(***you can both laugh at this part as you motion to lick her temples: "slurp!" Kidding. LOL! Have fun! Laughing is a great aphrodisiac ;-)

Ardy kissing his bride, Miriam, on the forehead (like a pomegranate)

...You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
And there is no blemish in you.
...You have made my heart beat faster, my bride;
You have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes...
How much better is your love than wine,
Your lips, my bride, drip honey;
Honey and milk are under your tongue..."
~~
Tips 2-4. You can take it from there Dudes!
If she hasn’t melted like QuickMelt cheese bubbling in a pre-heated toaster, then perhaps you’re reading the Song of Solomon sounding like Darth Vader. Relax, man. Breathe.

And read with your best bedroom voice.

Look into her eyes and touch her skin, graze her shoulders with your finger tips as you read.
